A Memorable Trip by Le Khanh Linh

Last summer, my family had a trip to Phu Quoc. It was a Sunday morning and all the family members got up early to prepare for the trip.

First, we took a taxi to Hue and visited the historical sites... Then, we flew to Phu Quoc. It was the first time I flew on a plane so I felt both nervous and excited.

When walking down to the airport, I found it was one of the great tourist places I'd been to. Phu Quoc is an island district, with many large islands and many other small islands.

We booked a room at a hotel near the sea, here we can watch the sunrise, the climate here is cool, the air is very fresh. Phu Quoc has many different beaches. If you have time, should experience them. They have a clear blue sea and fine sand is the attraction of Phu Quoc that can not be found anywhere else. It is a point to check-in.

I took a lot of pictures. After the tour, we went to the beach and enjoyed seafood dishes. Fish sauce is one of the specialties in Phu Quoc. So we also bought some as gifts for the neighbors.

It was a very interesting trip. I hope to come back here one day soon.

A typical week of mine | Hồ Minh Châu

Every weekday morning, my alarm goes off at 7.30 am in the morning. It’s quite late because my school starts in the afternoon. Moreover, I’m a night owl so I prefer to do my work the previous evening instead of waiting until the next morning. My morning routine is very simple. After getting up, I go to the bathroom and have personal hygiene quickly by washing up and brushing my teeth. However, if the weather is hot, I’d like to take a shower early in the morning. After that, I go downstairs and have breakfast with my mom. My school life is quite pressured so after having breakfast, I go upstairs again and start doing my homework and preparing for my lessons in the afternoon. My school finishes at 5.15 pm. My mom usually picks me up because she also finishes her work at the same time. I sometimes help her with house chores when I have no extra classes to go to. Practicing the three Rs to help the environment

An essay by Lê Khánh Linh Vietnam is a developing country at the present time. Therefore, everything is being industrialized and I can say that a lot of factories have been built and set up in Vietnam. This has resulted in water and air pollution which is considered a serious problem right now. I think everyone is responsible for the environment. So, I recommend everyone to apply the three Rs: reuse, reduce, and recycle to help make the environment much cleaner. For example, people can try to avoid using single-use products like plastic bottles, plastic bags, and plastic rice boxes and take away boxes. Instead, they can buy their own bottles, they can buy their own boxes, and carry them around. Doing so will help reduce a lot of plastic consumption in cities. Secondly, people should not throw garbage all over the place. They can actually either put them into the proper bin or bring the trash back home with them.
