Last year, my class was organized by our parents to go to the beach. Later that evening, we asked our parents to let us go swimming, but they didn’t agree. We had been looking forward to that day a lot because we were able to swim satisfactorily.

At first, we were very sad. Then a friend had an idea: “Why don’t we go swimming together without adults?” he suggested. “I think we are old enough to go swimming on our own”. After 10 minutes, when we were ready, we went to the beach.

Swimming was really nice. We thought we would only swim for about 30 minutes. When we were all swimming in the sea, I heard someone scream. And there, a friend in my class was in the distance, and he was shouting for help. Suddenly, my whole class noticed that scream.

Fortunately, a man who heard the scream jumped down and saved my friend. He’s just a little tired, the rest is fine. After showing him our gratefulness, we returned to the resort. When we told what had happened to all our parents, they were really shocked and angry. We all felt really sorry. We had a memorable trip to the beach.

Every weekday morning, my alarm goes off at 7.30 am in the morning. It’s quite late because my school starts in the afternoon. Moreover, I’m a night owl so I prefer to do my work the previous evening instead of waiting until the next morning. My morning routine is very simple. After getting up, I go to the bathroom and have personal hygiene quickly by washing up and brushing my teeth. However, if the weather is hot, I’d like to take a shower early in the morning. Practicing the three Rs to help the environment

An essay by Lê Khánh Linh Vietnam is a developing country at the present time. Therefore, everything is being industrialized and I can say that a lot of factories have been built and set up in Vietnam. This has resulted in water and air pollution which is considered a serious problem right now. I think everyone is responsible for the environment. So, I recommend everyone to apply the three Rs: reuse, reduce, and recycle to help make the environment much cleaner. For example, people can try to avoid using single-use products like plastic bottles, plastic bags, and plastic rice boxes and take away boxes. Instead, they can buy their own bottles, they can buy their own boxes, and carry them around. Doing so will help reduce a lot of plastic consumption in cities.
